So, go ahead and soak up the sun, but with a few precautions:

Hydration is Key: Pregnant women are already susceptible to dehydration, and hot weather increases that risk. Carry a reusable water bottle and sip frequently throughout the day.

Seek Shade: Avoid direct sunlight during peak hours (10 am to 4 pm). Find a shady spot under a tree or bring a beach umbrella.

Sunscreen Savvy: Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen liberally 15 minutes before going outside, and reapply every two hours, or more often if sweating or swimming.

Dress for Comfort: Choose loose-fitting, breathable clothing in light, natural fabrics like cotton.
